The Village of the Arts is a vibrant community of artists living and working together in Bradenton, Florida. With over thirty artists, the Village is Florida’s largest art community. Monthly ArtWalks fill the streets with art lovers looking for affordable fine art, jewelry, ceramics, designer wear and collectibles of all kinds. You'll also find inviting bookstores, gourmet cafes and many special events free to the public. ArtWalks are the FIRST Friday and Saturday of every month: Friday 6-9:30pm, Saturday 11am-4pm. 

Join us for our 4th Annual FESTIVAL OF THE SKELETONS, a Celebration of Life on Friday November 6th from 6-9:30pm and Saturday, November 7th from 11 -4pm. Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) includes a street festival with live Mexican music & food, a juried art show, a Village community shrine in honor of Mexican artists Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera and individual outdoor altar displays at many galleries. On Friday evening there will be a walking tour complete with decorated skeletons, altars, and luminarias at many galleries throughout the Village. This is a family event and community members are welcome and encouraged to create an altar display as well.
